Frida Kahlo was considered Mexico’s greatest artists and after learning more about her, to me she is a great inspiration of power and determination when the odds are against you. In this painting I feel Frida is look at the viewer with a look saying, your turn now to inspire me!

Each original takes approximately 4 weeks to create and many weeks of thinking!  My originals are very personal to me so it's always a hard decision to know which one to reluctantly part with.

The paints I use are a professional grade of acrylics on cotton canvas, this piece includes mixed media.
