We are the most connected through the internet and social media, however rates of depression, anxiety and loneliness are the highest ever reported. This sometimes contradicts the images that are seen on social media of everybody having such a good time. This piece is about having real eye to eye and genuine conversations. I’ve used pink to represent compassion nurturing and love, the gladioli flower and titanium chain represent strength and courage and the two birds represent a friend or family member.
