Gender equality is being discussed within the media and in some cases it’s being recognised as the realisation of both modern and economic efficiency, the Kingfisher represents prosperity, the gentleman’s watch to represents a male perspective and time for change, the Camelia flower, worn by the suffragette Kate Sheppard, represents New Zealand as the first country to allow women the vote in 1893. The scales show the balance between male and female.
